Nectaria M. Chakas, Esq.

Ms. Chakas’ extensive experience involves representing developers of commercial, residential, mixed-use and urban redevelopment projects.  She provides advice and counsel during the various stages in the development approval process.  Ms. Chakas is known for her ability to secure permitting and approvals involving comprehensive plan amendments, rezoning, platting, variances and environmental permitting.

Ms. Chakas has a broad knowledge base of state and local economic development with regard to managing projects through the government entitlement process by addressing political and administrative law matters, in addition to land-use and related environmental issues.

Her responsibilities with numerous large and complex redevelopment projects involve the coordination of multiple design professionals, creating approval and entitlement strategies, as well as working with elected officials and a wide variety of community associations.
